Civil War sesquicentennial events at Stones River National Battlefield. Park rangers and volunteers will present a variety of programs through Jan. 2 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Stones River, including a living history program presented by nearly 300 volunteers. YP Nashville Connect

Networking event to help young professionals figure out where they can get connected and involved in the Nashville area. SATURDAY, JAN. 26

Zoo Run Run

Runners and walkers will embark on a 5K course through Nashville Zoo’s 188-acre property past favorite habitats, like the African Savannah and Flamingo Lagoon, and on roads and trails not normally seen by the public. Proceeds help fund Zoo operations, from education programs for children to feeding more than 2,100 animals. Information and registration: nashvillezoo.org.

GNAR New Member Orientation
