NASHVILLE (AP) — The U.S. Postal Service says it plans on filling more than 70 skilled maintenance positions in both Nashville and Memphis.

Anyone interested can attend one of the local jobs fairs the postal service is offering this week in either Memphis or Nashville.

The job fair in Memphis will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday at the boardroom in the historic Central Station downtown. The event in Nashville will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mail processing center at the post office at 525 Royal Parkway.

Those who can't attend the job fairs can apply online at www.usps.com beginning Friday.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and be able to pass a drug test.
