1. Tivity Health reports strong second quarter -

Franklin-based Tivity Health, Inc., provider of fitness and health improvement programs, has announced financial results for the second quarter ending June 30, including an increase in revenue year to year.

2. New psychiatric hospital planned for Nashville -

Saint Thomas Health and Acadia Healthcare are partnering to create a new 76-bed psychiatric inpatient hospital at Metro Center in Nashville.

The state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital is planned for 300 Great Circle Road. Pending certificate of need approvals, construction would begin in early 2019.

Camping World Holdings, Inc. has agreed to buy Cullum & Maxey Camping Center in Nashville.

Camping World is the nation’s largest network of RV-centric retail locations.

5. Health Care Council announces new board -

William F. Carpenter III, chairman and CEO, LifePoint Hospitals, will continue to serve as chairman of the Nashville Health Care Council board of directors for the second year.

William Gracey, president and CEO, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, continues as vice chairman of the board.

Hagan Stone has been elected president of the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors for 2014. Stone, who is affiliated with the Brentwood office of Pilkerton Realtors, begins his one-year term Jan. 1.

FRANKLIN (AP) - Acadia Healthcare Co., a provider of inpatient behavioral health care services, said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of three inpatient psychiatric hospitals from Haven Behavioral Healthcare for $91 million in cash.
