McDonald's says it will start giving customers the choice of a salad, fruit or vegetable as a substitute for french fries in its value meals. 48. Meaningless preseason game? Not for Stafford -

Throughout the off-season, OTAs and training camp, one of the biggest questions for the Tennessee Titans was who would be the team’s fourth safety.

Michael Griffin remains the starter at free safety, and the Titans signed Bernard Pollard and George Wilson in the off-season, though both are more suited to strong safety. Pollard will be the starter there, with Wilson being the backup and playing in certain packages.

DALLAS (AP) — The new American Airlines will have more top executives from smaller but more successful US Airways than from the current American.

Five and a half years after the start of a frightening drop that erased $11 trillion from stock portfolios and made investors despair of ever getting their money back, the Dow Jones industrial average has regained all the losses suffered during the Great Recession and reached a new high. The blue-chip index rose 125.95 points Tuesday and closed at 14,253.77, topping the previous record of 14,164.53 on Oct. 9, 2007, by 89.24 points.
