Garth Brooks continued his winning streak as entertainer of the year at the 2017 Country Music Association Awards, beating out Luke Bryan and Keith Urban.

NEW YORK (AP) — Miranda Lambert led the pack with five nominations for Country Music Association awards on Monday, with Little Big Town and Keith Urban earning four nods each.

Lambert was nominated for song and single of the year for "Tin Man," and also earned nods for album, female vocalist and best video of the year. Nominations for the 51st annual awards were announced on "Good Morning America." The ceremony is scheduled for Nov. 8 in Nashville.

NASHVILLE (AP) - Music awards shows love to mashup songs and artists together, but the Country Music Association took the mashup to a new level for their upcoming 50th anniversary.

"Forever Country" features 30 country singers in a blend of three of the genre's most beloved tunes and an innovative music video that highlights the breadth and history of country music. The song was released digitally and to radio and a sneak peek of the music video premiered on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" on Tuesday night in advance of the Nov. 2 awards show.

NASHVILLE (AP) - Eric Church and Chris Stapleton lead the nominees for the 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards with five nominations each, including male vocalist and album of the year.

In nominations announced Monday, Church earned a first-time nod for entertainer of the year, along with Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan - co-hosting the show with Dierks Bentley - and Miranda Lambert. Church also earned nominations for video of the year for "Mr. Misunderstood," and vocal event of the year for "Raise 'Em Up" with Keith Urban.

Battle of Franklin Trust Adds Additional Walking Tours. The Battle of Franklin Trust will offer additional walking tours to commemorate the 151st anniversary of the Battle of Franklin, which was fought on November 30, 1864. Eric A. Jacobson, CEO of The Battle of Franklin Trust, will lead two morning battlefield tours, one on Nov. 27 and one on Nov. 30. Each tour will begin at 8 a.m. at The Carter House, the site of the Federal headquarters during the battle, and last until 9:30 a.m. Guests will visit crucial spots on the battlefield and learn about pivotal moments that occurred before, during and after the battle. Tickets are $25. In addition, a special tour of the Spring Hill battlefield will be offered on Nov. 29, 3-4:30 p.m., on the anniversary of the battle there. Attendees will hear about the sharp fighting there as well as the Confederate confusion which led to the Federal army’s escape and ultimately the Battle of Franklin. Attendees will also receive one free house tour admission to either The Carter House or Carnton Plantation. Tickets are $25. Due to limited space, reservations are required for both tours. 99. Little Big Town, Eric Church lead CMA nominations -

NASHVILLE (AP) - Little Big Town crushed it with their song "Girl Crush" and are tied with Eric Church with five nominations each at the 49th annual Country Music Association Awards.

In the nominations announced Wednesday, the four-part vocal group rode the success of the song to nominations for album of the year for "Pain Killer"; vocal group; musical event for a duet with Miranda Lambert; music video; and single of the year. The songwriters for "Girl Crush," Liz Rose, Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey, also received a nomination for song of the year.
