Rickard Rakell's goal in the fourth round of the shootout propelled the Ducks past Nashville 2-1 and handed the Predators their first road loss this season.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Facing closely contested election races in Florida and Arizona, President Donald Trump is spreading misleading rhetoric regarding voting fraud.

He says votes are suspiciously appearing "out of the wilderness" in Arizona after Election Day to boost the Democratic candidate in the Senate race. It's actually typical for the state to take additional days after an election to finish tabulating mail-in votes.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nashville Predators players stood around the locker room after beating the Washington Capitals 4-3, huddled around cellphones watching and rooting for more franchise history.

Seconds after the Boston Bruins lost to the Florida Panthers in regulation on Thursday night, Mattias Ekholm yelled out, "Yeah boys!" as teammates high-fived to celebrate the first Presidents' Trophy in the team's 19-year history.

Kevin Fiala and Kyle Turris each had a goal and assist in the third period, leading Nashville to a 3-2 win over the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night. Ryan Ellis also scored to help the Western Conference-leading Predators get their 21st road win of the season and improve to 12-0-1 in their last 13 games overall. Josi had five assists, Craig Smith scored twice and Ryan Hartman redirected in the winning goal during his Nashville debut, sending the streaking Predators to a 6-5 victory over the Winnipeg Jets in their Central Division showdown Tuesday night.

NASHVILLE (AP) — Pekka Rinne showed no signs of a letdown following his milestone 300th victory.

Rinne made 27 saves for his sixth shutout of the season and the Nashville Predators earned a 4-0 victory over the St. Louis Blues on Sunday.

NASHVILLE (AP) — For a guy who was drafted 258th overall in 2004, Pekka Rinne has put together quite a career.

TORONTO (AP) — James van Riemsdyk and Frederik Andersen gave the Toronto Maple Leafs a full two points in the standings.

James van Riemsdyk scored in regulation and again in the seventh round of a shootout, and Anderson made 44 saves in the Maple Leafs' 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators on Wednesday night.

49. Josi scores in OT to rally Predators past Islanders, 5-4 -

NEW YORK (AP) — The Nashville Predators trailed in the third period even though they seemed to have had the better chances. They stuck with it and pulled out another big win to keep rolling along.

Ryan Johansen scored the tying goal in the final minute of regulation, and Roman Josi scored the winner 3:42 into overtime to rally the Predators past the New York Islanders 5-4 on Monday night.

50. Rinne, Forsberg lead Predators over Kings 5-0 -

NASHVILLE (AP) — After welcoming Filip Forsberg back to the lineup, the Predators looked like the team that made it to the Stanley Cup Final last season.

Pekka Rinne made 19 saves, Forsberg had a goal and an assist, and Nashville beat the Los Angeles Kings 5-0 on Thursday night.

51. Titans add 5 new coaches, keep 2 assistants -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have hired five new assistant coaches with coach Mike Vrabel keeping a couple assistants.

The Titans announced the moves Tuesday.

Pat O'Hara will coach quarterbacks with Kerry Coombs overseeing the secondary. Shane Bowen will coach outside linebackers with Tyrone McKenzie in charge of inside linebackers. Rob Moore will coach wide receivers. Vrabel is keeping Craig Aukerman as special teams coach after having been an assistant for that unit. Arthur Smith also is being retained as tight ends coach.

52. Forsberg, Hinostroza lead Blackhawks past Predators 2-1 -

NASHVILLE (AP) — The Chicago Blackhawks turned away a big charge by the Nashville Predators down the stretch.

Anton Forsberg led the way.

Forsberg made 22 of his career-high 42 saves in the third period, helping the Blackhawks beat the Predators 2-1 on Tuesday night.

Gary Housepian is stepping down as executive director of Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, Tennessee’s largest non-profit law firm.

Housepian has served as executive director of Legal Aid Society since July 2007 and will continue to head the organization until a new director is hired through a national search.
